GoRead - Translations are a success & See your sales every week

Translations have already been made by customers into all languages and many authors are now published in multiple countries on the audiobook services. September brings 100 new audiobook titles published through GoRead and almost as many physical book titles. Now you get statistics every week on how much your titles have sold in different formats and channels.

NEWS

  • Translations have been supplemented with a division into British English and American English. In addition to the English languages, you can also translate to and from Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, German, Polish, Dutch and Bulgarian. In all of these countries the audiobook market is well developed, which increases your chance of reaching a larger audience through GoRead's channels.

  • Your sales are now updated every Monday at 10am with the previous week's reading and listening. See sales per title, channel and format. You can view the statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly level for whatever time period you want. Weekly statistics currently include all channels except Audible.

  • From October 1st, historical receipts of purchases made are available under My account / receipts. Invoices for bookkeeping are created automatically for all future purchases you make from now on. If you need invoices for purchases already made for your company's bookkeeping, contact support and we will produce them for you.

  • The audiobook productions have become even better; we now also check the pronunciation of homographs, i.e. words that are pronounced differently depending on context. As before, a review of difficult-to-pronounce words is done behind the scenes before each audiobook production starts, such as names, places, numbers, foreign words, misspellings and more.

  • Since August, new audiobooks are also published on Audible. For those of you who have published audiobooks before, go into the service under the Streaming tab and choose to publish the audiobook to Audible, and it will automatically be pushed out to them as well.

  • Now you can download your manuscript in docx format, valuable for those of you who have made changes in the service but want to continue the work elsewhere and then upload the final version to GoRead.

COMING UP

  • We are in the process of choosing a distributor for printed books outside Sweden as well. Our goal is to be able to present it before Christmas. On the audiobook side, we hope to add distribution to Spotify in the coming months.

  • Soon it will be possible for several people to collaborate on the same project under the same account. Especially valuable for book publishers but also for self-publishing authors who want help from someone in the work process.

  • Currently, you cannot change an already selected cover in the service. You also cannot change the metadata and edit projects that are already published. We have begun building a fix for this that we hope to release during October.

  • We want you to succeed as an author, and for that purpose we have now begun preparing for a personal author page where you can present yourself and your authorship. There you will also access covers, links to the bookstore and other things that make it easier to create posts on social media.

What are you waiting for, log in to GoRead and upload your book manuscript if you haven't already done so, create an audiobook or make a translation to increase your sales. You log in easily with BankID.
