  • HOLD THE PRESS- JK Rowling is getting a Biopic: Rowling is getting her own film, chronicling her young life and rise from poverty to billionaire status, through the magical world of Harry Potter. Tentatively called, “When Lightning Strikes”- check out the deets, and a peek at the script now.
  • JK Rowling Pub named after her: The Conan Doyle, a popular pub in Edinburgh, Scotland, has honored Rowling by temporarily becoming “The J.K. Rowling.” The name will be up for a month, so visit it while you still can!
  • Steve Bannon Book: Though they’ve been threatened with legal action, the book “Fire and Fury” has pushed it’s launch date up and become a #1 bestseller. People cannot quit talking about the drama. Check it out.
  • Bowie Book Club: In honor of David Bowie, his son has started a book club- you can join as part of your New Year’s (Reading) Resolutions!
  • Ambassador of Literature: Jacqueline Woodson is named, “Ambassador for Young People’s Literature!”
