March: Books Turned Movies Out Now!

Literature is constantly influencing popular culture through the film industry. Movies are frequently adapted from books, and readers have constant arguments on whether or not they should read the book before the movie or after the movie. If you read the book before the movie, you may criticize the movie for lacking and changing details or having characters that do not fit your imagination.

62 percent of women prefer reading books before watching the movie version, compared to 53 percent of men preferring the movie first, according to Wakefield Research’s Smartfood National Popcorn Month survey. Watching a movie before reading the book could allow the viewer to decide if the storyline is worth reading. Everyone has their preferences.

We have selected books turned movies that you can start reading or watching today.
