One of my fans, Patti Jo Grover, asked me a question about my favorite all inclusive spot to travel to. I thought I should share the wealth and give everyone some helpful travel tips. The third part of this series is going to FINALLY focus on how to get cheap All Inclusive Deals. Hopefully it was worth the wait Patti Jo!

Book Early – Many resorts will offer the lowest prices over a year in advance, use this to your advantage. If you know where you want to go, take advantage of the cheaper rate and book it a while before you plan on leaving. On top of that, a lot of times resorts will knock of 10% if you book that far in advance and pay in full. If you can swing it, it is an easy way to save some money.

Pick the right time of year – If you are trying to book travel when the rest of the world is, it will be more expensive. If you are waiting to go when the kids are off of school, then you will have to compete with everyone else doing the same thing and the prices will go up. Instead, travel when people aren’t traveling. Start your trip on a Tuesday and avoid the chaos. Book a trip in the middle of the school year where most people won’t have that option. The Caribbean in October and November is my favorite time to travel.

Look at Multiple Sites – There are a massive amount of deals to be found on websites that are not Expedia. Obviously, those sites are great…but their are plenty of options out there that will give you the same if not better deals on travel. For instance, Groupon has a ton of All Inclusive options (some of which that even include Airfare!) for a great price. And the best part about booking through their website is that it is 100% risk free. You can always contact Groupon and get your money back. Do not be afraid to shop around a bit.

Look for Special Offers – Many resorts offer specials to try and hit a sales goal or fill up a block of rooms. Pay attention to what promotions they are running and take advantage when you see one you like. Many times I have seen offers like Kids stay free, or $250 activity credit, or free airport transfers, etc. You can often save yourself hundreds of dollars just by taking advantage of these few small things.

So that is it, a few part series on how to save money on your next vacation! No excuses now…get out there and see the world! = )
