ITALIAN STYLE CHICKEN

(VERY SIMPLE TO MAKE)

 

INGREDIENTS:

2 ea. 6 oz. boneless chicken breast

1 can diced tomatoes with basil, oregano, garlic

1 sm. Can tomato paste

1 ea. Yellow sweet onion sliced

1 tsp. Italian seasoning

1 tsp. onion powder

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. black powder

1 tsp. basil dried

2 tbsp. vegetable oil or olive oil

 

DIRECTIONS:

1.     Heat oil on medium high heat.

2.      Season chicken on both sides. Cook until browned on both sides. Add onion while chicken is cooking. Allow onions to become transparent.

3.      Add diced tomatoes; cover cook about 15 min.

4.      Add tomato paste (1 tsp. at a time) until sauce thickens. Lower heat and simmer covered about 15 min. Stir sauce occasionally.

Note: Serve with egg noodles or any pasta
