Seems like there’s always a study rushing to proclaim how good or bad something is for us. Coffee has for the most part been on the good side. A study from 2011 said it could help protect against Alzheimer’s disease. An article from 2017 listed ten benefits of coffee. Reduce the risks of type two diabetes. It can protect the brain against Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. It helps with digestion. It can reduce the risks of some cancers. It also said coffee can prevent or stop headaches. Usually that headache is from the coffee monster that I chose to ignore that morning. And once I have a cup or two it goes away. I’ll give it to coffee on a technicality.

And the latest study actually gives you a target number of cups per day to help your heart. Four cups a day.

If you’re drinking at least four cups of coffee a day, keep up the good work. If not, it might be time for another cup or two.
